Powdah Room

I'm in love with this piece via Lonny Magazine circa Oct/Nov 2009.  And when I say in love, I mean IN LOVE. I've rummaged the internets to find the deets of this precious gem. And let me tell you, I HAVE FOUND THEM! I am just so proud of myself...even found the little soap that adds a splash of green to the room.

First thing that drew me to the decor was the Leontine Linen bath towels (don't worry, a LOT more to come on my obsesh with Leontine). You can find the lovely bath towels here.

Now to the scrumptious wall....throw out the old saying that wallpaper is for your grandma, can make a room outdated, and is obnoxiously loud. Because it's just not true (as you can tell from the pic above).  This wallpaper actually won't break the bank and can be found at any local Sherman Williams.  As you can see hurr.

And last but not least...I haven't forgotten you, little soap thang.  I think it adds the perfect shade of green AND is actually useful for guests. Perfection.

FEELINGS

Lately I haven't known what to blog about. I feel torn all sorts of ways. I asked Brett if he wanted another baby (NO OMG WHAT NEVER). I struggled with Bowen's test at Texas Children's. I struggle telling people that she won't go to the school her siblings go to. How do you explain that? We get the results of her test tomorrow and I'm terrified. I feel like life isn't normal? SCONCES & SUCH

Let's take a quick look at the bathroom shall we? Subway tile = good, real gooooood. And we made a startling discovery when we ripped up the bathroom floor..... Awesome white vintage tile....seriously- why would you ever cover that up?! Unfortunately we couldn't salvage it since the previous owner had damaged a lot of them or we def would have! That's all the pics I have for you today since everything else is taped off in preparation for wallpaper install. SO let's begin with some random thoughts. I want  this sweater: I shall be adding this to the new shop : minty fresh In exactly two short months, we'll be here: Sconces were decided on for said bath thanks to Amber's blog : Hmmm, I think that's about it.
