GOALS

I just OD'ed on grapes and now feel like I may vomit.

Anyways, I have some goals I really want to accomplish before 2013 is over and especially before baby girl gets here!  I thought I'd type them up here..you know to keep me somewhat accountable.


  • Get Cash's nursery/big boy room together.  We are working with Sam of Peak of Tres Chic to make our vision a reality, and she is seriously amazing and so talented! I can't wait for everything to come together.
  • Put Cash into a 1 or 2 day a week school program.  In Houston, wait lists are INSANE.  We're #8 on our first choice so hopefully that comes to fruition soon.
  • Find a fun playgroup with normal, cool moms.  Trust me, there are some out there that I can't even take seriously.
  • Find some good baby music/reading classes that work with our schedule.  The ones around here all seem to fall around his nap time so I might need to start crashing other neighborhood events....
  • Decide on a name for baby girl!!! 
  • Get her nursery completely ready before her debut.
  • Throw a Christmas open house/party for friends and family.
  • Go on daily walks with Cash (been doing that for a while now!)

Let's take a quick look at the bathroom shall we? Subway tile = good, real gooooood. And we made a startling discovery when we ripped up the bathroom floor..... Awesome white vintage tile....seriously- why would you ever cover that up?! Unfortunately we couldn't salvage it since the previous owner had damaged a lot of them or we def would have! WORRIED MAMA

I have a confession:  I had my first pregancy freak out. Ok that was a lie. This is my second or third. But this time was a little different.  EVERYTHING is perfectly fine thank goodness. But over the past few days I think I had my first ''am I ready'' breakdown.  It all started yesterday afternoon with Finn.  She came into the house from outside with blood all over her paw. I started cleaning it but then it would gush all over again-- cue freak out.  Instinct kicked in and I immediately put the other two dogs away and started getting Finn ready to go to the vet.  Picture a pregnant woman trying to control a 92 pound dog on a leash by herself.  This might seem easy to some people but Brett ALWAYS takes care of this part.  We go to the vet together but he holds her, gets her in the car, gets her out, keeps her from other dogs at the vet, etc etc.  This part scares me.  But I had to manage so off we went.  I finally got her int...
